🎉 Congratulations to Nathan Montelongo for being named a 2026 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge finalist!*

 Nathan is among 30 inspiring middle school scientists and engineers selected nationwide as a 2026 Thermo Fisher Scientific Junior Innovators Challenge finalist—from more than 300 Top Junior Innovators!

 Representing 17 U.S. states and Puerto Rico, the finalists will compete in Washington, D.C., this October. 🏆

 He is also the second student in RGV history to have made it this far in the competition.  The first was his brother, Gary, two years ago! What an incredible and special accomplishment for the Montelongo family and the Rio Grande Valley!

 What a wonderful recognition of Nathan’s hard work, curiosity, and passion for STEM! We couldn’t be prouder! 🔬🚀🎉👏
