Important updates regarding our transportation bus drop-off procedures for the remainder of the 2023-2024 academic school year.
Here's a quick overview of what you need to know:
🚌 Elementary students must have an authorized adult present at the bus stop for release. 🚸
🚌Middle and high school students may be dropped off without an adult present at the bus stop, provided they have completed our Drop-Off Parent Release Form and is on file at the school's main office.
📝 Drop-Off Parent Release Form can be found in our transportation website at www.lajoyaisd.com/transportation
*This form will now be included as part of our enrollment packet.
🚌Requests for deviations should be communicated in writing to campus administration, with a 5-day approval period. 📅
🚌Please note that emergency changes to drop-off procedures will not be accommodated without written parental consent. 📝

Our very first Tenor-Bass Choir headed out to the Region 15: UIL Concert & Sight-Reading Evaluation held at PSJA Southwest ECHS and brought back SUPERIOR Ratings on stage! Way to go boys and congratulations on a successful first year at competition! You have set a great precedent for the future of the program for our Tenor-Bass Choirs! We are so proud of you!

They were recognized for their accomplishment of receiving a Division 1 at the La Joya ISD Pre-UIL Evaluation and for receiving “Sweepstakes” at the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Evaluation. Thank you to all our students for achieving one of the highest honors. The future is looking bright at LDZ!🎶🐾
Congratulations to Our Zavala Lady coyotes. For bringing home the victory against Ann Richard MS. Our 7th grade team won 12 to 3. And congratulations to our 8th grade team. They brought home the W with the score of 7 to 3.
