Please complete the Over-the-Counter Medication Form and return it to Nurse Salinas at Lorenzo de Zavala Middle School as soon as possible. This form is required for us to safely administer any over-the-counter medications to your child during the school day.
Friendly Reminder: Tylenol and ibuprofen will only be administered if your child has a fever greater than 100.4°F and a parent or guardian cannot be reached.

📊 The Texas Education Agency has released 2025 accountability ratings. La Joya ISD received a 78 (C) and at Lorenzo de Zavala Middle School, we received a 73 (C) (LDZ Accountability Letter 2025).
We recognize both the challenges and opportunities ahead.

📌 When enrolling or attending back-to-school events, verify your child’s bus route.
📋 Complete & submit a Positive Exchange Form to your child’s campus (if not yet done for 2025–26) to receive a Bus Rider Tag for safe student drop-off.
