Congratulations to our TMSCA students for competing this past Saturday at the Sharyland Qualifier #3! 🎉
Our students continue to grow and improve with each competition, and this weekend our 8th grade Science Team earned 2nd place, qualifying them for the TMSCA State Meet! 🧪🏆
This achievement brings De Zavala Middle School to a total of 10 students heading to the State Meet in April. We are excited to see them shine and represent LDZ with pride!

🔥 Big time start for Coyote Track! 🔥
Congratulations to our 7th Grade Boys and 8th Grade Boys for placing 1st Overall at their first full district track meet! 🥇🏃♂️
Our student-athletes showed great effort, determination, and teamwork all day long. We are proud of the progress they’ve made so far, but we know there’s still more work to be done. The season is just getting started, and we will continue to push, improve, and compete at a high level.
Great job, Coyotes! Let’s keep the momentum going into the next meet! 🐺💪

This past Saturday, our 7th and 8th grade boys and girls from De Zavala Middle School kicked off the Track & Field season with an outstanding performance! 🏃♂️🏃♀️
From the first race to the final event, our student-athletes competed with heart, determination, and pride. Their hard work and commitment were on full display, and we couldn’t be more proud of the way they represented our school.
This is just the beginning for Coyote Track & Field. Keep pushing, keep improving, and keep competing.

Our 8th Grade Lady Coyotes finished strong with a 1–0 victory over Irene Garcia MS in their final game of the year! Hard work, discipline, and heart were on full display from start to finish.
We are so proud of these young ladies for their commitment and teamwork all season long.

After a tough semi-final match that came down to sudden-death penalty kicks, our 8th grade girls soccer team bounced back with determination and won their 3rd-place match to bring home a well-earned trophy and podium finish at this weekend's tournament.
The Lady Coyotes wrap up their season Monday at home as they host Garcia MS — come out and support them as they finish strong! ⚽🔥
