🏀 Celebrating Zavala 8th Grade Girls Basketball 🏀
Congratulations to our Lady Coyotes for an outstanding start to the season with today’s first regular season game victory over RYMS! Both teams played incredibly, bringing us to a strong 2-0 record:
• Dark Team: 20-3
• Light Team: 21-2
We are proud of our Lady Coyotes’ effort and look forward to their continued success this season!



A big round of applause goes out to all the students who participated in our October Library Contest and contributed their beautiful pumpkins to the library pumpkin patch! They were all BOOOOtiful! We’re incredibly proud of your creativity and artistic talents!

Today we welcomed Agent Reyes from the Alcohol, Tabacco, and Firearm Agency to speak to our 7th-grade students about drug awareness. Our students wore neon colors to show their support for Red Ribbon Week.

Congratulations to our UIL academics teams that placed last Saturday at their first UIL meet of the year at Domingo Trevino Middle School. This was a great first step in our competition year. A big thank you to the students and coaches that made this possible. Let’s go LDZ Coyotes!!
