Congratulations to the Lorenzo De Zavala Middle School 8th Grade Coyotes! The Light Team battled for a thrilling 19-18 OT victory against JD Salinas to start the season 1-0. Juan Rodriguez led with 6 points, Ian Maldonado hit a clutch 3 to help reach OT, and Omar Saenz sealed it with a big 3-pointer. The Dark Team dominated with a 42-20 victory, also moving to 1-0. Stuart Benoit led with 18 points, Salvador Villagran added 16, and Dante Salinas chipped in 6. Fantastic team effort from everyone—what a start to the season, Coyotes!

Attend today... Achieve tomorrow! Perfect attendance pays off! Students with perfect attendance were treated to popcorn and a pickle and entered into a raffle. Eight lucky winners walked away with exciting prizes.

Peppa and her friends delighted Mr. Navarro's class! The students actively listened to the read-aloud and were surprised by a special visit from Santa Claus. They took photos with Santa and received a gift to celebrate the occasion. A big thank you to Mrs. Barrera, the Art Teacher, for designing the canvases, and to Mr. R. Martinez for bringing Santa to life with his festive costume!
